Scrabble strategy tips
Hold on to S and blanks. They are the easiest way to turn a good rack into a 50-point bingo.
Know your Q words without U. QAT, QAID, QOPH and FAQIR can save a bad rack.
Put high-value letters on premium squares. A Z on a triple letter is worth 30 points before any word bonus.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Scrabble word finder work?
Enter the tiles on your rack (up to 7, with ? for blanks). The finder lists every playable word with its Scrabble tile score, highest first, and marks bingos that use all 7 tiles.
How do I find words that use letters on the board?
Open "Board letters & filters" and enter the letters your word must start with, end with or contain. They are added to your rack automatically, so you see only words that fit that spot.
What is a bingo in Scrabble?
A bingo is a play that uses all seven tiles from your rack. It earns a 50-point bonus, which the finder includes in the score and labels BINGO.
Are board bonus squares included in the score?
No. Scores show the tile values plus any bingo bonus. Premium squares like triple word depend on where you play, so add those yourself.
Which word list is used?
WordSolverBox uses the public-domain ENABLE list. It matches most of the official Scrabble dictionary, but a few newer or regional words may differ.
