Using the Site

WordSolverBox provides free word-finding tools and word lists for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or republish the Site’s content or tools in bulk, or use automated systems that place an unreasonable load on the Site;
  • attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access to the Site;
  • use the Site in a way that breaks any law, or the rules of any game or competition you take part in.

Many games and tournaments do not allow outside help. It is your responsibility to follow the rules of the games you play.

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, graphics and code belong to WordSolverBox or its licensors. The word list is based on the public-domain ENABLE list, and definitions come from WordNet® 3.1, © Princeton University, used under its license.

Scrabble®, Words With Friends® and Wordle are trademarks of their respective owners. WordSolverBox is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them.

No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep our word lists, scores and definitions accurate, but we do not guarantee that any word is valid in a particular game or dictionary, or that the Site will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordSolverBox is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The Site contains advertising and links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising works on the Site.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms. The “Last updated” date shows when they were last changed.
